This jade is so much more different feeling than other jades. It does not feel dense like other jades. It does not sink when put in water. I wonder the history behind this find.
I have some concerns about this amber. It does not test like Baltic amber. I put a hot needle to the back of the piece and I did not get the normal resin/sap smell like you get with real amber. Is Guatemalan amber different? It feels more plastic.
All the cabachons are very very nice. Thick where you don’t have to worry about the height of the bezel wire. Also all around beautiful stones.
